My dear friends, good evening everyone, and thank you very much for accepting the invitation to participate in the G7 Outreach session here in Italy. It is an honor to have you all here today to discuss two critical topics that will shape the future of our world  Artificial Intelligence and Energy.

As we all know, AI has been transforming industries and societies at an unprecedented rate. It has the potential to revolutionize healthcare, education, and transportation, among many other sectors. However, we must also acknowledge the risks associated with AI, such as job displacement and bias in decision-making algorithms.

In the energy sector, we are at a crossroads. The world is facing an unprecedented energy crisis, with rising demands and depleting resources. We must find alternative sources of energy that are sustainable, clean, and affordable. AI can play a crucial role in this sector by optimizing energy efficiency, predicting energy demand, and improving the overall energy infrastructure.

The G7 Outreach session provides a unique platform for us to come together and discuss these pressing issues.
